FEEDBACK FROM STUDENTS
Irene is very clear and constructive throughout every discussion. She encourages participation in very interactive ways, such as group activities and questions asked and open for anyone to answer.
She is very easy to approach and is very considerate of all her students. She gives everyone an opportunity to answer questions and will spend extra time on a subject if a student is having trouble understanding something.
Her opening to helping me was something that I appreciated from Irene. On numerous occasions, she made time out of her normal office hours to help me with the content.
Irene is super nice, patient, and approachable. Her section is always interesting, intellectually stimulating, and very helpful for us to review the things we've learned during lecture and to prepare for the exams. Love her!! Hope she would be the TA for other sociology classes as well!
Best T.A I’ve had so far! I was very happy that Irene was my TA this quarter. She helped me better understand the material in class and made sure I was really understanding it by providing real-world problems for us to apply concepts to. She was easy to talk to and made the section very engaging.
